SPACE DYNAMICS LABORATORY

The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) at Utah State University is an applied research organization specializing in rapid-response solutions to technology challenges faced by the military, science community, industry, and academia. Since its inception in 1959, SDL has been responsible for the design, fabrication, and operation of thousands of sensors on hundreds of aircraft, rocket, and satellite payloads. SDL also develops innovative technologies for the C4ISR community. A thorough understanding of complex systems enables SDL's Support Hardware Branch to provide cost-effective re-engineering, systems engineering, and test services for Government flight and ground-based systems. As platform life cycles extend by decades, obsolete assemblies must be replaced with little knowledge of their original design. SDL overcomes this challenge by providing cost effective development of depot-level maintenance capability and seamless technology insertion solutions. Visit www.sdl.usu.edu.
